With the help of our amazing "Cross the Bridge to Hope" Team, we have a great start to our 2022 Holiday Giving Season. Today, we ask you to join them in making our programs and services possible.
Our 45th Anniversary Commemoration
For 45 years, through our board and volunteers, we have shined a light into the darkness of the experiences of the hopeless, alone, the suicidal, caregivers and the grieving. We have listened, we have helped and we have been their voice.
Against incredible odds, The Samaritans’ board and volunteers have never given up.
From our current efforts advocating for physical suicide prevention barriers on the state’s bridges over Narragansett Bay to training more than 1725 current and alumni volunteers in befriending and suicide prevention awareness, to our public programs and events in our Forget-Me-Not Gallery, Rhode Islanders know we have been consistent in what we do, how we do it and we can be trusted.
All of our advocacy and volunteer-based programs are offered for FREE because of your donations!
Today, we are asking everyone to join us and rally your friends, family, businesses and networks to support our work. By donating and fundraising for THE SAMARITANS INC, you will ensure we can "Cross the Bridge to Hope" together - Rhode Islanders helping Rhode Islanders!
